Insight Meditation is "clear seeing" into the true nature of reality. Developing concentration and mindfulness, we acquire the ability to see deeply into the truth of our experience without judgments, projections, or distortions. As the hold of negativity is weakened, we begin to cultivate a peacefulness of mind and openness of heart. The willingness to be present without clinging to what is pleasant nor avoiding that which is unpleasant is the foundation of freedom from suffering. Over time the fruits of the practice are many and include loving-kindess, compassion, wisdom, and equanimity.
Cost is a donation (not included in membership pricing).
